Establishing Service
Question: How do you establish water service?
Answer: In order to establish service, just stop by our office ( 229 Marshall Road in Platte City) one working day before the "desired connection date" at which time you may complete the new customer application form. A $ 50 deposit is required at the time you complete the application for service.
Water Rates
Question: What are the water rates in Public Water Supply District No. 4?
Answer: New Rate Change effective May 1, 2010
The minimum monthly rate is $12.00 ( includes the first 1,000 gallons of Water).
Every addtional 1,000 gallons of usage is $ 5.65. ( Effective May 1, 2010)
Deposits
Question: When will the deposit for water service be refunded?
Answer: Deposits are refunded in your final bill if and when you disconnect service. The deposit remains on your account as long as your service is active.
Shutoff Policies
Question: What is the "shut off policy" for Public Water Supply District No. 4"
Answer: On the third month that no payment is received your water will be disconnected for non payment and will be charged up to $50 in reconnect fees in addition to the amount owed plus late fees.

Ending Service
Question: Who do I contact to cancel water service?
Answer: To cancel service you should contact our office ( 229 Marshall Road, Platte City, MO) at least one working day before the desired disconnect date.
Final Bills
Question: Who do I contact to make a final payment?
Answer: You should receive your final bill in the mail the following month after your service has been disconnected. It can be paid by mailing a check or dropping the payment at the District office.
Consumer Confidence Report
Question: What is the Consumer Confidence Report?
Answer: The CCR is a report the Water district publishes yearly to notify our patrons of their water quality.
Night Drop off for Payment
Question: Where can I drop off my payment when the office is closed?
Answer: The District has a "drop off box" located at the West end of the building ( 229 Marshall Road) for easy drive by access.
